Hi there

Hiya all, My name is Jasmine Yoshikawa and I am attending Leeward Community College because I want to be a Preschool teacher. I was a teachers aide at Calvary Chapel Christian Preschool for three years and knew that I wanted to teach kids from then on. I currently work at American Eagle Outfitters for now while I am attending school.

 My favorite Gadget currently is my Macbook, because its super light and I basically do everything on it, including recording music on Garage band. it makes it easy to do online classes because I do everything on my own time.

I am excited and a bit nervous about this online class because I am used to the classroom setting, but I am a hard worker and actually really enjoy group projects. Two skills that I bring to an online class is that I do my projects on time and I am easy to work with. I am excited to get to know all of you!

I know its geared towards early education teachers but I think it just goes to show how using technology in teaching can really engage students. When I worked at a Preschool, its really crucial to engage the students because at age 3, its very difficult to focus! The children in this video were able to sit for 30 minutes and be actively engaged while learning and having fun at the same time. I hope you enjoy watching it!
